The most valuable rock guitar player on the scene would indisputably be Eric Clapton. Eric began playing the guitar at age 13 as a blues performer. In 1962, he explored the rock and roll scene and transitioned into the rock genre.
At the age of 17, Eric joined his first band. After it dispersed, Eric was recruited by the Yardbirds. He was the most talked about guitar player on the rock circuit. After joining the Bluesbreakers in 1965, Eric earned the nickname, “God” from an admirer.
Eric attained superstar status while touring the US with Cream. Around 1970, Eric was encouraged to sing more and began composing songs. His self-titled album was released that year.
